Turnaround Times

“You Can’t Rush Art”

I am an artist

Retro Licker is just one person

Almost everything I make, is hand made to order from scratch.

When placing an order you are added to my work schedule in chronological order.

Stickers, Photos, Prints etc are made to order and are completed as they come in, the turnaround times on these are quite quick and they will be dispatched as soon as they have been made.

Controllers and Console Cases have been marked as "Preorders" as they have a longer turnaround, as they take me a longer time to make and there may be a queue of other controllers ahead of you.

This time frame generally includes -

  • Buying Materials - I only buy materials for an order once it has been placed, I do not have the materials on hand for your order. I order the materials specifically for your order. Sometimes I do this in person, other times I do this online, and sometimes I have to get materials from other countries. All of this is reflected in the turnaround time for your items.

  • Drying Times - My art is made up of many layers of paint, drying times vary depending on the time of year and temperature conditions in my country. This is reflected in the turnaround time.

  • Schedule - Please understand, Your custom is important to me, but your purchase is not my only order, When you place an order you are added to the schedule. Orders are made in the order they arrive in. There may be a few people ahead of you in the queue and their order will need to be completed before I start yours.

  • Rush - At the end of the day, I make art. Art cannot be rushed or hurried along. It is not mass produced or made with machinery. Each piece gets the full undivided attention it deserves. Each item is a work of art and I put everything in to it. Please understand this while waiting on your item.

  • Contact - Lots of people are excited and full of anticipation for their order and love to receive updates and "check in" on how their order is coming along. Please bare in mind, the more time I spend replying to emails, the less time I spend making art, so the longer you and others will have to wait.

  • Social Media - I often post updates via my social media of art I am working on. You can always find daily photos and videos on Instagram, Youtube & Tiktok

  • Patience - Please be patient, I am only human.
